The Acorn Slippers are wonderful. They are very comfortable. The soles allow you to walk outside to get the paper, but they are not too stiff to be uncomfortable. I would highly recommend these slippers.

When you get to the nitty gritty. . . what it all boils down to is. . . Man vs. The Elements. Few of us are fortunate enough to dwell in exotic locales and tropical climes; accordingly, we must take on Mother Nature–and at times, she can be one howling witch.
So. . . to go outside to get the paper. . . or just go to the mailbox. . . and to have to pull on shoes to keep your tootsies warm and dry for such a quick trip is just plain. . . bollocks. My husband is very happy with these slippers. They have great traction and he particularly likes the little lip at the heel that helps keep the shoes from slipping off. Warm and comfortable!
